Definition

A name given to a real-scale urban environment or dataset for embodied agents. The "ground" plays on grounding — tying language and decisions to actual referents in the world — while also evoking physical terrain. The motivation is scale: much embodied-AI evaluation happens in single rooms or houses, and moving to city blocks at true metric scale changes navigation, perception range, and the kinds of instructions that make sense.
