GLOSSARY
embodied
appears in 2 paper titles
Definition
Having a body that perceives and acts inside an environment. Embodied AI covers robots and simulated agents, and the defining difference from static dataset learning is the closed loop: an action changes what the agent sees next, so errors compound and the data distribution is partly of the agent's own making. On real hardware the binding constraints become sample efficiency and safety rather than model capacity.
