embodied-navigator

Definition

A coined system name meaning, roughly, an embodied agent that navigates. "Embodied" is the load-bearing part: the agent perceives an environment through sensors and changes its own state by acting in it, rather than consuming and producing text alone. The compound is not standard terminology, so what the system actually does — simulation only or real robot, language-guided or not — comes from the paper.
