GLOSSARY
work
appears in 4 paper titles
Definition
In academic prose, a piece of research or the research itself, used in fixed phrases: prior work, this work, related work, concurrent work. It does not mean labour or employment here, which is a routine source of confusion in machine-translated papers. "Concurrent work" specifically means a result that appeared independently around the same time, and carries a claim about not having copied it.
