well-connected

Definition

A community whose members can all reach each other without leaving the community. It matters because optimizing a score like modularity does not by itself prevent a returned group from falling into disconnected pieces, so connectivity has to be enforced explicitly. Note it is a different requirement from being dense: a long chain is well connected but sparse.
