Definition

A coined method name blending warp with RANSAC, the classic robust-estimation loop that samples minimal subsets of correspondences, forms a hypothesis, and keeps the one with the most inliers. Names ending in -SAC signal membership in that family, and the prefix says what the work changes — here, incorporating learned dense warping into the hypothesis or verification step. The goal in such methods is tolerating a high fraction of wrong matches, which is what breaks least-squares fitting.
