Definition
A method name for agents that answer questions about video by investigating it in multiple rounds rather than in one pass. Long videos exceed what any context window can hold, so the agent selects segments to inspect, gathers evidence, and integrates findings before answering. The contrast with standard video question answering is control: here the model decides where to look next, which makes retrieval and evidence tracking part of the method rather than preprocessing.
