GLOSSARY
verifiable

Definition
Checkable by machine without a human judge — a numeric answer that can be compared, code that either passes tests or does not. This property is what makes reinforcement learning with verifiable rewards practical: the checker replaces the annotator, so training can scale. Domains where quality is a matter of taste have no such checker, which is why progress there still leans on human preference data.
