themselves

Definition
A reflexive pronoun that, in titles like "language models can teach themselves to use tools", signals a self-supervised or self-improvement loop: the system generates its own training data, filters it by some automatic criterion, and trains on the result. It flags the absence of human annotation, which is both the usual selling point and the usual weakness, since errors can be reinforced.
