GLOSSARY
tasks
appears in 6 paper titles
Definition
The units of work a model is asked to perform, each defined by an input format, an output format, and a metric. That triple is what makes comparison possible at all. The plural typically appears in multi-task or transfer settings, where the claim is about breadth — doing well across many tasks, or on tasks unseen during training — rather than depth on any single one.
