GLOSSARY
scenes
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
A whole 3D environment — geometry, appearance, lighting, and the camera positions that observed it — rather than a single object. Reconstruction and novel-view synthesis both take a scene as their unit of work. Contrast with image: an image is one 2D observation, while a scene is the underlying thing that many images are views of.
