GLOSSARY
requirements
appears in 2 paper titles
Definition
The conditions a system is supposed to satisfy, borrowed from software engineering. The term shows up in agent work where a natural-language description of what is wanted must be turned into something that runs and passes tests. Requirements sit a level above a specification: they state what stakeholders need, while a specification pins down system behavior precisely. In practice they arrive incomplete or ambiguous, and resolving that is much of the difficulty.
