GLOSSARY
query-focused
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
Conditioned on a specific question rather than covering everything. In query-focused summarization the output must address what the query asks and may legitimately drop material a generic summary would keep. That makes evaluation harder: one source document has many correct summaries, one per query, so scoring against a single reference summary is not a fair test.
