Definition

Describing a model after pruning, normally with a sparsity figure attached — 50% pruned means half the weights are zero. That number describes parameter count, not speed: unstructured sparsity often yields no acceleration on dense hardware, which is why semi-structured patterns exist. Pruned models are usually fine-tuned afterwards to recover the accuracy the removal cost.
