primitives

Definition

The atomic building blocks of a representation — triangles, points, voxels, or Gaussians in graphics. "Neural graphics primitives" names representations where those blocks are encoded by a learned network rather than stored explicitly. The choice of primitive largely determines rendering speed and which geometry is easy to fit. Not the programming-language sense of primitive types.
