GLOSSARY
platform
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
The shared substrate other things are built on top of. When a paper calls its contribution a platform, it is claiming reusable infrastructure — data ingestion, execution, evaluation, visualisation bundled so that others can plug their own method in — rather than a single technique. Contrast with a method, which is one algorithm, and a benchmark, which is a fixed set of tasks and a scoring rule.
