GLOSSARY
pinnacle
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
Literally the highest point, but in papers it most often appears as a backronym-style project or benchmark name rather than in its ordinary sense. A practical rule of thumb: fully capitalized in a title, treat it as a proper name and look for the expansion in the abstract; lowercase, read it as the plain word making a claim about state-of-the-art standing. As a coined name, the letters are only defined inside the paper itself.
