Definition

Appears as a correctness criterion rather than as a subject area: does the generated video, simulation, or 3D scene obey physical law? Models trained on appearance can produce frames that look right while objects interpenetrate, float, or change mass. The underlying point is that statistical plausibility and physical consistency are different targets, which is why benchmarks and losses aimed specifically at physics have become their own line of work.
