GLOSSARY
personalization
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
Adapting a general model to a specific user or subject. In image generation it means teaching a model a particular person, pet, or object from a handful of photos so it can be placed in new scenes; in assistants it means conditioning on a user's history and preferences. The difference from ordinary fine-tuning is the target: personalization optimizes fit to one individual, not average quality.
