Definition

A promotional adjective asserting that something supersedes what came before. It carries no technical content of its own, so the useful move is to skip to the body and find the specific discontinuity being claimed — a different substrate, a different interconnect, a different training paradigm. It is most common in hardware and platform announcements, where generations are an actual product cadence rather than a rhetorical one.
