Definition

Taking several camera streams as joint input, typically a surround-view array where each camera covers part of the full field of view. Standard practice is to fuse them into a shared 3D or bird's-eye frame using each camera's calibration, with overlapping regions supplying stereo-like depth cues that a single view cannot. The contrasting term is monocular, where all depth information has to come from learned priors on one image.
