GLOSSARY
mitigating
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
To reduce the severity of a problem without claiming to remove it. When a title says mitigating rather than solving or eliminating, that is usually deliberate: the underlying issue — hallucination, bias, prompt injection — is either believed to be structural or simply not shown to be fixed. Read it as an honest scope limitation, and check what residual failure rate the paper actually reports.
