GLOSSARY
literature
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
The published body of work in a field — the accumulated papers, not fiction. When it appears in a title the paper is usually operating over that corpus rather than adding an experiment to it: surveying it, searching it, or automating its review. Read it as a signal that the unit of analysis is the paper itself, which also means coverage and inclusion criteria matter more than any single number reported.
