GLOSSARY
limits
appears in 3 paper titles
Definition
The boundary of what an approach can do, argued either empirically or from first principles. A paper with "limits" in its title is usually mapping failure conditions rather than pushing a number up — showing a class of problems that more data or compute does not fix. Such results redirect effort, but they are also easy to overstate: check whether the limit is proven or merely observed.
