Definition

The conditions under which a method does not apply and the claims it does not support. Most venues now require a limitations section, and reading it first is efficient: it tells you the scope of the result before you invest in the method section. Treat it as a boundary statement rather than an apology — the useful signal is whether the stated limits match the experiments actually run.
