GLOSSARY

lightspeed

appears in 1 paper titles

Definition

A rhetorical flourish, not a measurement: used in titles to advertise a large speed-up, as in Sinkhorn Distances: Lightspeed Computation of Optimal Transport. It carries no defined factor and no connection to physics. Treat it the way you treat blazing or ultra-fast — a pointer to the benchmark table, where the actual ratio and the baseline being beaten are specified.
