GLOSSARY
hurt
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
Used when an intervention makes things worse rather than better — more data hurts, longer reasoning hurts, alignment training hurts capability. Titles reach for this word because a negative result contradicting standard practice changes what people actually do. Such findings are almost always conditional, so the useful reading is narrow: at what scale, on which tasks, and under what budget did the harm appear, and does that regime match yours.
