Computer graphics: representing 3D scenes and producing images from them. Neural graphics is the recent merger, where learned components replace hand-built representations or renderers — NeRF and Gaussian splatting are the visible results. A useful framing is that vision goes from images to understanding, while graphics goes the other way, from a description to an image.
