GLOSSARY
generalized
appears in 4 paper titles
Definition
Signals that an existing method or result has been extended to hold under broader conditions, with the original recovered as a special case. A title using it claims continuity rather than replacement: the prior result still stands, now as one instance of something larger. This differs from "general", which asserts breadth outright without implying that a narrower predecessor is being subsumed.
