GLOSSARY
features
appears in 1 paper titles
Definition
The plural of feature: the set of properties used to describe something, ranging from physical measurements of a stimulus to the intermediate activations of a deep network. Papers typically compare levels — do low-level features such as edges or pitch explain the data, or are high-level semantic ones required? Organising results by feature level is the standard way to make that argument.
