Definition

A comparative speed claim against some named baseline. What is actually faster varies: training wall-clock, inference latency, or throughput are different quantities that can move in opposite directions, and a method faster on one may be slower on another. The claim is only meaningful alongside the accuracy it was measured at and the hardware it was measured on.
