Definition
An evaluation that breaks a long generation into its smallest factual claims, checks each against a knowledge source, and reports the fraction that is supported. The fine granularity is the point: a sentence that is mostly right but contains one invented detail gets partial credit instead of a binary verdict. It scores precision — how much of what was said is true — not recall of what should have been said.
