Definition

A framing word that positions the contribution as opening something up rather than improving a number. A title of the form "Enabling X" claims that X was previously impractical — too slow, too large, out of reach of the hardware — and that the paper removes the blocker. Because it is a strong claim, the thing to check is what exactly was infeasible before and which specific constraint the work lifts.
