GLOSSARY
efficiently
appears in 2 paper titles
Definition
A claim that the contribution lies on the cost axis rather than the quality axis: the same result for less compute, memory, data, or wall-clock time. When it appears in a title, the baseline is usually matched on accuracy and beaten on resources. Always ask which resource was saved — efficiency gains are trades, and the thing that got more expensive is somewhere in the paper.
