GLOSSARY
dissemination

Definition
Dissemination is the spread of information through a population — who reshared what, when, and how far it travelled. Papers quantify it with cascade size, depth, and speed, usually to compare how true and false claims propagate. Unlike "distribution," which suggests a one-to-many push from a source, dissemination implies onward relay by recipients, so network structure itself shapes the outcome.
