cross-platform

Definition

Working across different operating systems or device classes rather than one. For computer-use agents this is a demanding claim: Windows, macOS, Linux and mobile differ in widget appearance, interaction conventions and what automation APIs expose. Agents leaning on one platform's accessibility tree do not transfer, which is part of why purely pixel-based, screen-reading approaches are attractive despite being harder.
