creation

Definition

The act of building something — a dataset, a benchmark, a piece of content, a tool. In papers it usually marks the artifact as the contribution, with the method in service of it. Compared with generation, which names what a model emits, creation tends to cover the whole production process, including design decisions, filtering, and whatever human curation went into the result.
