GLOSSARY
controllable

Definition
The property that a generative model's output can be steered by explicit conditions rather than only resampled until something acceptable appears. In music that means tempo, instrumentation, or structure; in text, style, length, or persona — specified at inference time, without retraining. It is an axis distinct from raw quality, and often the more decisive one in practice, since a tool that produces excellent but unrequested output is hard to build a workflow on.
