Definition

Training two or more components against each other so that each improves as its counterpart does. A generator of problems and a solver, for example, form a loop in which progress on one side automatically raises the difficulty facing the other, removing the need for a hand-built curriculum. The contrast is with standard training, where the data or the opponent stays fixed.
