Definition

The tail of the surname Fréchet after tokenisation; it carries no meaning on its own. It appears because evaluation metrics such as Fréchet Inception Distance and Fréchet Audio Distance name the distance used to compare a Gaussian fit of real-data features against one fit to generated samples. Treat it as a fragment of a metric name, not a term.
