centric

Definition

A combining form meaning organized around: user-centric, data-centric, model-centric, agent-centric. It is a positioning claim — data-centric AI, for instance, argues that improving the dataset yields more than improving the architecture. Because centring one thing demotes another, the informative question is always what the phrase is implicitly arguing against, which is usually stated in the same abstract.
