Definition
Human-made — the modifier that, with intelligence, names the field itself. Most of its current traffic is in the stacked forms artificial general intelligence and artificial superintelligence, which are used to argue about how far present systems are from some threshold. Since those thresholds are defined differently by nearly everyone who invokes them, the qualifier is where the disagreement lives and deserves the closer reading.
