Definition

Title boilerplate asserting that the paper moves the state of the art forward. "Advancing X" tells you the topic and the ambition but nothing about the mechanism, so the actual contribution has to be read out of the abstract. It belongs to the same slot as "improving", "towards", and "rethinking" — conventional framing that signals intent rather than result.
